How do I know if D-alignersTM is the right solution for me?

Can kids or teenagers use D-alignersTM?

D-alignersTM are suitable for adolescents with all permanent teeth. It is not usually a suitable solution for children.

How will D-alignersTM affect my appearance?

They will hardly affect your appearance at all! D-alignersTM are transparent, so people won’t notice that you are wearing them. They are an ideal alternative to unattractive braces, and they won’t interfere with your job, social life or self-esteem.

How long do I have to wear D-alignersTM?

The length of treatment depends upon the original problem. The treatment can take 6 to 12 months, which means your perfect smile is within reach.

Can I take them off?

Yes. D-alignersTM are easily removed and easily put back in place. D-alignersTM should be removed while eating. They can also be removed to brush and floss your teeth, so you can maintain your usual oral hygiene routine throughout treatment. In addition, if you are attending a special event or important meeting, it is fine to remove them occasionally for a few hours. Besides these activities, D-alignersTM should be worn at all other times, at least 22 hours a day, including while sleeping.

Are D-alignersTM as effective as braces?

In all cases that D-alignersTM are a suitable solution, they will achieve the same results as braces – yet without the discomfort and unattractive look!

Once my dental practitioner takes the impression of my teeth, how long will it take to receive the aligners?

The first stage of treatment includes a range of diagnostic procedures. During this stage, your orthodontist or dental practitioner will develop a treatment plan and your first sets of D-alignersTM are designed and manufactured. This process may take a few weeks.

During later stages, your dental practitioner only needs to take impressions of your teeth and send them to the Correcteeth lab, where the team will use them to create 3D images and new aligner sets. These sets of D-alignersTM will be sent to your dental practitioner’s clinic. Simply pick them up and you’re ready to continue the treatment.

How often do I have to visit my orthodontist or dental practitioner?

You will need to have a new impression taken of your teeth every 2 to 4 months, depending upon your dental practitioner’s recommendations. The procedure of taking the impression is fast and painless.

What happens following treatment with D-alignersTM?

A retention appliance is often prescribed following orthodontic treatment to maintain the ideal position of the teeth. The D-alignersTM Retainer offers an aesthetic and comfortable alternative to an acrylic retainer.

How much does the treatment cost?

The cost of treatment with D-alignersTM will depend upon the severity of your case. Your orthodontist or dental practitioner will be able to provide a specific price quote once the initial diagnostics are complete.
